Help Posting an Ad 

I made a mistake in my listing. How do I correct it?

While logged into your account, click the My Account link in the header menu and click “Ad Management” to find a list of items you have posted. Click Edit. The follow page lets you edit all text. Use the “Manage Attachments” link at the top to remove or add photos.

 

Login problems

I registered an account but it didn’t ask for a password. I can’t log in.

You are emailed a link to set your password and confirm your email. Click that link to set your password before you can log in. Check your spam or junk folder if you can’t find the email. Try your email again and double check spelling. If you still can’t log in, contact us.

Calendar

How do I add an event to the Sales & Strikes Calendar?

You can go directly to here, or click “CALENDAR” in the main menu and find a button near the top named “ADD EVENT TO CALENDAR.” You are required to login to your account. Please can register if you don’t have one an account. All calendar entries are subject to review by our admins before they will appear on the calendar.

How do review events I’ve personally created on the Sales & Strikes Calendar?

After logging into your account, you can go directly to here, or click “CALENDAR” in the main menu. Then click the “ADD EVENT TO CALENDAR.” Near the top of the page. On the resulting “Submit an Event” page, you will find a “VIEW YOUR SUBMITTED EVENTS” button.

I created an event. Why can’t I immediately see it on the Sales & Strikes Calendar?

Items added to calendar are subject to approval by our Administrators. Your event will not appear until Admins have reviewed the event. This can take 48 to 72 hours to complete.

 

Photography

Generally Photography Tips

  • Check your focus.
  • Shoot in plenty of light. If you do not have good light sources, considering taking the photos near an exterior window or outdoors in the sun.

Mobile Phone Images Tips

  • Please take your photos horizontally. Some phones EXIF metadata may cause images to appear rotated on their side.
  • Consider taking photos with a camera app that offers cropping, and simply uploading from your photo library.
